Project Architect – Housing

A globally recognised, design-led architecture studio is seeking a talented Housing Architect or Project Architect to join its established residential team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale, mixed-tenure housing schemes across London and the wider UK, within a studio renowned for its commitment to design quality, placemaking and long-term social value.

The role sits firmly within the realm of complex, commercially aware housing-led development — not high-end residential. You will work across a range of scales and typologies, contributing to projects from early concept stages through to planning and technical coordination. Working closely with senior architects, consultants and local authorities, you will help shape well-considered, policy-compliant and sustainable urban living environments.

Day-to-day responsibilities include producing coordinated Revit models and high-quality architectural information, supporting planning submissions and design reports, and coordinating across multidisciplinary project teams. A strong working knowledge of UK housing standards, London Plan policy and residential delivery will be essential to success in this role.

The team is particularly keen to hear from candidates with around 3–5 years of professional experience, though experienced Part II Assistants and Project Architects with strong housing backgrounds will equally be considered. Experience on schemes of 100 or more homes, ideally within London, is highly desirable. Proficiency in Revit is essential.
